In today’s news, World Food Program partners with Danish government to enhance school nutrition initiatives in East Africa, Arctic glaciers shrinking at an alarming rate, World Bank approves major funding to boost Peru’s green economy and climate resilience, researchers in the Netherlands use probiotics to improve people’s moods, police officer in Florida, USA, saves grandmother and child from sinking car, universities in South Korea add vegan options to cafeteria menus, and rescued horse-person from United States finds forever home.

Leaving your dog-companion alone for too long can lead to stress, anxiety, and behavior problems like chewing, digging, barking, howling or even depression. Most adult dog-persons can manage about 4–5 hours in a small space, but they need plenty of exercise before and after. Puppies and senior dog-folk, however, need much more attention. Puppies shouldn’t be left at home alone for more than an hour or so as they easily get anxious and may develop lasting behavior issues, while older dog-people may struggle with mobility or need frequent bathroom breaks. If you’re away for long hours, consider daycare, a midday dog-person sitter, or even another furry companion to keep your dog-buddy happier and healthier.

We just peeled off the hilarity freshness seal, so we can now enjoy the joke of the day. It’s called “Film Adaptation.”

A man went to the movies and was surprised to find a woman with a big collie-person sitting in front of him. Even more amazing was the fact that the dog-pal always laughed in the right places throughout the comedy. At the end of the film, he went to speak with her:

“Excuse me, but I think it’s astounding that your dog companion enjoyed the movie so much!”

“I was surprised myself because he didn’t like the book.”

!?

And now we have a heartline from Cai-Yi in China
